Smoke smell !! Read this and you decide....\r
\r
Took my Lexus RX350 to one of Envirofix's locations to get rid of a smoke smell. Location meaning dealerships where they stop by. They will meet you there, put a tower (tube) in your vehicle, close the doors and let your vehicle run for one hour with the heat on wide open. this tube is supposed to kill the odors.\r
\r
At the end of this one hour your smoke smell should be gone. Well, it wasn't. what i did get was a weird noise coming from the heater.... (eventually it went away). I called Ed at Envirofix and told him the smoke smell was still there and he said that they would treat it again and that should do it. Because they have a satisfaction garauntee. \r
\r
I took it again and met Ed. He put another tower (tube) in my vehichle, cranked the heat up and let it run for one hour while i waited.....again!\r
\r
After the one hour i climb in and drive it down the road to my surprise the smoke smell was STILL THERE! AND that weird noise was back! it must be the heat running wide open for one hour. i am surprised the dash board didn't melt off.\r
\r
I immediately notified Ed at Envirofix and he said that he called the owner (his boss) and discussed it with him and that i should bring it by their office at 7 am one morning. Well, i work and they already tried twice, using my gas. The smell wasn't reduce at all. still strong. \r
\r
I asked for my $95 back and they said no. Some satisfaction garauntee. Satisfied means smoke smell gone or $95 back in my pocket.\r
\r
You have been warned...
