My friend and I went to Angelette's last weekend and had to try their beignets in addition to French toast for me and the shrimp and grits for her. We've both been to Cafe du Monde and agreed that the beignets were spot on, and my French toast was amazing, the bacon perfectly cooked, and I tried the shrimp and grits that my friend ordered. Yummmmm! The place was super busy, but we had lucked out and gotten a table for two pretty quick. This is my new favorite brunch place!
