Review content:
If you want to see how amazing Angelette's is, do a drive-by on a Sunday at about 12:30. Don't bother trying to get in, because they will be so packed with the brunch crowd that by 11:30 they will start turning away people.
If you want some amazing food, GO EARLY. The place is not big, but it can seat up to large groups. On weekends especially, expect a wait. The service is quick, so they will do their best to seat you. Once you get seated, get a buzz from their amazing chicory coffee and try ANYTHING on the menu, because no doubt it will be awesome. I've had everything from the crawfish omelette to crawfish etouffee to the beignets (JUST like Cafe du Monde, I swear) to the salads to the French toast. These people know how to cook, man, and the owners are actually FROM Louisiana, so they know Cajun. They even have their own hot sauce. Seriously. Go here, and bring people.
