Review content:
While the service, furnishings, amenities and food are all outstanding, the Four Seasons experience falls short by dazzling the guest so much that you miss the natural wonders of Maui. The rooms are so far from the ocean that only a slight glimpse of the water is available. If you want pampering, then this hotel is for you. But if you crave the ocean with pounding surf, the waves with salt air blowing through the tropical gardens then you will have to look hard to find it amid all of the overbuilt luxury here.
Pros: Impeccable service, wonderfully furnished, good restaurants
Cons: ocean is too far away, overpowers nature, resorthides the ocean
