House on S. Lumpkin listed for different prices on different rental search engines (the lowest being on their own website), but when we called, they listed a price greater than any yet seen ($650, $675, and $725, respectively). After emailing them to press that we saw it at $650 on their own website, they responded, ""It is listed on our rent list as $695 but will do $650 for you."" Oh, and it took us four days to actually get ahold of them for this conversation.\r
\r
Also, a company like this has many masters, so I suggest you check out the reviews on Merchant Circle. If they treat the property owners this badly, think about how they treat transient tenets & local college kids.\r
\r
Finally, if all else fails, just call and talk to them. Once you finally get ahold of them (be patient, they'll call back), I'm willing to bet you'll get the same slimy car-salesman vibe that I got.\r
\r
That being said, I've never actually rented from them, but for good reason, in my opinion. Maybe if you're a low-maintenance tenet (and if the house is also low-maintenance) who never requires anything from the property management company, maybe they'll work out just perfectly! Just make sure that you rigorously document the condition of the house upon moving in and moving out (w/ digital pictures, too!) to secure your security deposit!
