Some of the food at Monell's is average, I'll admit, but I must say that the blackened grilled catfish is worth the trip in itself. I crave this stuff, you don't know what you're missing if you've never tasted it. Monell's is an experience like no other, very down home and cozy - make sure to save room for a homemade biscuit...or 2...or 5! Sample all the sides before deciding, some are definately mediocre but others are worth the meal in itself!
