Had a great experience with Megan. I usually go to a salon in Mt. Pleasant, but the last time I was there my stylist kept checking the clock as if she couldn't wait to leave and she barely spoke to me. This was supposedly the ""top"" stylist. I purchased the groupon for Allure and thought I'd give it a try. I always worry that I'm going to be looked down upon when I go to a high end salon, but this was not the case at all at Allure. When I went in to make my appointment, the girls at the front desk were very friendly. It was very easy to find an appointment time that worked for me. Upon arrival for my appointment I was offered wine or another beverage. I didn't have to wait long at all for Megan. Before doing anything she asked what I'd like done to my hair. I explained what issues I was having (she actually came around to the front of the chair and listened to me) and she helped suggest what would work for my hair. The cut was great! It's been a few days and I think it actually looks even better now (and it's not because of my styling - it's the cut!!). This may sound silly, but one of the things I appreciated about the salon was that both times I went in, I could hear the stylists talking to their clients about their hair - making suggestions on what would look good, how to maintain the look, when to come back for touch ups, etc. It was clear that the stylists at Allure truly care about what they do. I will definitely go back. It would have been worth the money even without the groupon!
