First hand experience, this isn't a place that I would consider bragging to others about. Leaders here are uppity and arrogant and shun people who don't meet ""their standards"". Has any1 seen the highway sign? ""Raising a Standard"" falshes. Get REAL! The standards are not very Christ-like if you take a long look at what goes on there. Are they doing anything for their community? Are they reaching out?\r Many who once attended there became victims of abuse caused by leaders- Verbal, Mental, Financial & Spiritual abuse. Gossip. Stereotypes. Slander. Jealosy. Greed. Decietfulness. Manipulation and Control. If you don't fit the mold of their ""ideaology"" or meet their ""status quo"" per say, you are quickly outsted & shown the exit doors. And for those who don't get the hint that you are not welcome, they make you personally aware that you are not wanted. Some have left the faith because of that place. \r What kind of messed up cult are they anyway? Arrogant leaders bragging that they are better than other places of worship & local clergy. I hear years ago they convinced member to help buy acres of land in order to ""Build the Kingdom"" or some sort of ""City/Community"". Can you believe people actually did it? What became of that land? Public record reports it has been sold off to outside intities. What became of the profits made? Supposedly the place is in financial debt. I remember visiting one time and they were complaining that they were not meeting the monthly salaries or utility bills and were behind to the point that the doors may close. So, what happened? You guessed it... another offering demanded for something. Was it a ploy? It doesn't stop certain leaders from taking multiple yearly vacations and spending money. Who's paying for that? But let a member be in need of something, the door is shut in their face.\r You've damaged so many!! You have so many secrets within your walls & you have so much dirty laundry!\r There are people out there who know all about you.\r Pros: Plenty of parking and empty pews.... Cons: Nothing to really brag about on this one.....
