Review content:
One of THE BEST Thai places in the entire Bay, their dishes are all painstakingly prepared, resulting in the freshest, most sophisticated Thai entrees around. The chicken lemon-grass soup is perfectly tangy and rich. Their spicy chicken with eggplant is the best variant on this Thai standard I've ever had, with fresh Japanese eggplant, juicy, tender chicken, vegetables, all bathed in a unique, tangy sauce. Their pad-thai is amazingly fresh, never greasy. The curries are good, quite unique, and they will serve them PAINFULLY hot, but the flavors aren't as rich or lemongrass-y as Royal Thai (San Rafael, my favorite Thai place), or Plearn (Berkeley - awesome curry but little else to recommend it). Still, the freshness of the ingredients and rich flavors warrant serious attention. Unfortunately, this place is off the beaten path in Hayward, but it rivals any Berkeley or SF Thai place, so it's worth the trek.
