I have lived in the rochester highlands for about 10 months. They are one of the worst places i have ever rented. The apartments look wonderful and the price is even better. However never forget that old saying, you get what you pay for. They have rats, bed bugs, ants and black mold. It takes forever to get anything done about it through the rental office. There is a problem with people slashing tiers on cars. Not just one or two but over forty tiers throughout the whole complex. This has happened on more than one occasion in a months time. Cars have been stolen right in front of buildings. The quality of the tenants is horrible. It is like living in the heart of the worst neighborhood in rochester. Recently there was a naked crazy man running around the complex. Around the time our children where getting on the school bus. The grown ups and older teenages use the play ground areas for illegal activity. I do beleive drugs use and sales. I can not confirm this because i do not engage in that type of life style. I will never bring my child there again to play and i will leave it at that. I would rather drive the 10 minuets to the park up the street on westfall. I want to brake my lease but it will cost me a fortune. That rent special they offer is a joke. If you try to leave before your year is up they charge all that back to you when the take you to eviction court. please do your homework before you chose this complex. I wish i had.
