Review content:
We arrived at the restaurant and the place was about 1/4 full. We asked if we could sit in a booth, but the host/waiter said that he had to check on the reservations. He came back and finally gave us an open table like he was doing us a favor. It took forever to get a couple of waters. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see that wine was 1/2 off with a great selection. We ordered the 1/2 Chicken with the side of collards and baked beans, and my fiance had the baby back ribs with cole slaw and french fries. I have to say that the chicken and the ribs were disapointing because they were both very, very dry. Also, the collard greens were far from green. They were absolutely terrible. The only part we enjoyed were the cole slaw and baked beans which were delicious. I have to say the main reason I went there was for the ribs, as there are not too manyu rib joints in town. But, for good ribs, I would head up the street a couple of blocks to Mr. Cecil's.
Pros: wine was reasonably priced as it was 1/2 off
Cons: The meat is way too dry
