Review content:
The staff at Butoku is absolutely wonderful. They are polite and professional, respectful and amazingly good with small children.\r
\r
Sensei John is a patient instructor, knowledgeable and very eager to bring children up gently but firmly. He is friendly and I'm always amazed how he knows each and every name of each and every student in the building.\r
\r
Senpai (sp?) Daniel is absolutely wonderful. He leads by example, conducts himself in a very genuine way. Because he is a very young man (22, I'd guess), the kids really respond to him, because he seems so cool to them, and that helps them want to be like him. (I honestly wish he was a bit younger, so he could date my daughter.) He is also a great example to the kids that healthy, disciplined living is the only way to go.\r

The rest of the staff is superb. Joby runs the office and he is efficient and polite. Several new Black Belts and nearly-black belts provide support during classes. These are some really great kids. All are 16+, but they comport themselves in a way rarely seen these days: disciplined, polite, friendly, and eager to help younger students attain their goal of ""Black Belt Excellence.""\r

I'm very pleased with the progress my 9-year-old has made since starting at Butoku 2 years ago. I recommend this Dojo highly.
Pros: Excellent staff, clean location
Cons: Pricey
