Review content:
A one time place for good food has become a horrid dining experience.
Although the greeter was friendly and accommodating for my dinner last evening, the rest of the experience fell far short, especially based on price. I ordered the poppers appetizer and the fish.
The supposed jalepeno peppers had no heat and the cheese inside literally exploded when I bit into the popper. As for the fish, the fried outer portion was so greasy and absorbed into the coating, making it soggy rather than crispy. As well, it was over done so the fish was mealy. I could not finish anything, not even the salad I ordered as the tomatoes in the salad were going off.
At the end of the meal, I decided to order desert and coffee. The banana pudding was fine, but the coffee was cold. I decided to order a second order of coffee just to see if that would be cold as well; it was.
I do not mind paying more money for edible food, but I resent having to pay for inedible crap.
As an aside, there was not a person sitting around me at other tables who were not complaining about something. Most didn't even like the fries. Who screws up potato fries? Also, many, many plates were left uneaten and customers were not leaving with doggie bags. This speaks volumes.
