I had utilized CM&S to store a small amount of furniture that was initially intended to be stored for a short period of time. 5 years and over 3k later, I finally was ready to get my stuff. I guess my first mistake was thinking that after 5 years of payments that where NEVER ONCE late, I would be treated with at the very least, some respect... man was I wrong. The day of the delivery the movers said I needed to pay in full (roughly 1k) before they even begin to unload the truck. I guess you could fault me somewhat for agreeing to this, but I know my thinking at the time was that they have my stuff, and I've already spent more in storage fees than this stuff is worth. So now, money paid in full, I was really stuck with any problems, and boy were they just about to start.\r \r For starters, more than half my furniture was missing. I immediately called Rodney and he told me that Saturday's are his day with this son and that he wasn't going to be able to do anything about it until Monday. I pointed out to him that I just paid in full, and that part of that agreed transaction was that I have my furniture delivered today, he pretty much said, ""Sorry, that's our policy"". Once all the furniture that was delivered, two items were damaged while in storage and a third was damaged during delivery. I was told by the movers to file a claim, so I did. It took 2 weeks to finally get the claim paperwork from them. The paperwork indicated it took 120 days for review (what a joke). I patiently waited to only have Rodney tell me it was reviewed and denied. When I asked how it can possibly be denied when the furniture was obviously damaged by them, he just repeated himself again and again (finally just telling me ""tough luck""). It was at this point that I called him out and told him that he never planned to reimburse me, did he? He just responded, ""Yeah, well, what are you going to do about it?"" I would love to take legal action, does anyone want to join me? This guy needs to pay. Cons: Crooks, Theives, Liars.
