Review content:
I've been to this place three times, and while they have a good wine selection, the service is extremely poor. \r The first couple times I went there with a group and despite the fact that we were practically the only customers in the place, we had to get up and ask for service after waiting for what felt like a very long time. There were plenty of people working there, but they seemed to be more interested in socializing with eachother. We felt a bit like we were ignored guests in someone's home who just couldn't bother. We never experienced any rude behavior from the staff--it was more like apathy. It feels like a place where a few wine lovers (who seem to really know their stuff) started a business to have a place to hang out together and they really don't have any interest in customers. \r The reason I've been back is that the atmosphere and wine selection are good and there is literally NO other choice on Mercer Island. So, despite the poor service, I'll probably go back again when getting together with a group of people who need to meet somewhere in between Bellevue and Seattle.
