Review content:
First time and last time ever at Montana Mike's. Won't take VISA Gift Cards (not declined...they will not let you use them).\r \r I took my wife out to dinner after a couple of long days of work and decided to use a $50 VISA gift card we received our 25th Anniversary to pay for the meal. The shrimp appetizer was very good, but too spicy for her... more for me. The salads arrived and then less than 2 minutes, the entree's arrived. The server offered to put them under the warmer, but a Porterhouse sitting under heat lamps is not a good idea.\r The meal was average. The Porterhouse was kind of tender, but not that I would expect for the price and claim of aged beef. My wife had grilled chicken and is was dried out by my standards.\r \r I was tired and willing to over look a lot of things until I tried to use a VISA gift card and was immediately told by the server that they didn't accept them. So, I begrudgingly handed over another card. Then she sent the manager over to explain that the gift card office was closed on weekends and that they could not get the funds in their nightly batch. Seriously.... that sounds like an issue for the restaurant and their card processor... not for a customer to hear.\r \r Not impressed... at all. \r \r One customer lost with a story to tell, means a lot of customers lost. \r \r For another $25 we could have went to downtown Indy. Next time, we will.
