Review content:
Let me start out by saying this could be a great club with the right staff. I have recently moved to Simi Valley by way of Ventura. My wife and I went to the club for the first time this last Saturday. When we pulled up there was along line to valet your car, we were not in a hurry because it was around 10:15 and our party of eight was not going to arrive until 11pm. After waiting in the Valet line for about 30 minutes they parked our car. My wife and I were dressed up because we heard it was an upscale place. Many guys where dressed nice, even some wearing suits and ties. Others im not sure who they new but obviously someone because they were wearing shorts Tee shirts and sandals. When we arrived everyone was very nice even the little short cocky guy at the door. I guess he was the manager because he was the only employee with an ugly mustard colored suit that was 5 times to big for him. My wife and I went into the club, got a drink and waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Our party got to the Door around 11:15 because they also had to wait in the Valet line. My wife and I could see our party walk up because we were sitting at the lounge outside. After about 10 minutes of my friend talking to the little guy in the mustard suit I realized there was a problem. The little guy had told them they were 15 minutes late and could not get in. Since the club was not full and they were still letting people in I realized what the problem was. Four of the guys are over 6 ft 7 and former and current Pro Basketball players. Not realizing that my wife and I were waiting for the party of eight outside, one of the security guards who was about 5 ft 4 125lbs with a bald tatooed head looked to me and said they just looked like trouble. WOW! It took every thing in me not to laugh in that guys face. Suggestion to cadlelight if your security guards are going to discriminate against people over 6 ft tall maybe you should hire security that can actually keep a club SECURE.
Pros: The View!
Cons: The rude security! and unorganized valet parking!
