Review content:
I love a good toy store. It is such a joy seeing kids play with great toys that stimulate the imagination. Unfortunately, kids cannot do that at Toyopolis, which is not a kid-friendly place. \r \r I went there with my 3 year-old son, who proceeded to play with a fwe toys that were unwrapped and out on a play table, and at one point turned his attention to a stuffed animal/hand puppet hanging on a peg next to the play table. The woman at the counter treated us like we were about to break her finest china dishes, and actually had the nerve to tell my son not to play with the stuffed animal, as if he were going to somehow break it. I cannot believe that -- it's a TOY STORE!!! Children are supposed to go in and play with the toys! My son was not opening boxes or damaging anything, but simply playing with something that would be near impossible to break! I cannot recall the last time that I was treated so rudely.\r \r It's clear to me that this place is for people who have wads of money to spend on overpriced toys, but not for the kids of Santa Fe. Whether or not you are a local, I urge you not to patronize a toy store run by a Grinch! Pros: Location Cons: Mean salesperson
