Review content:
So where do I begin? After musch research, I decided to go to Tradicao for my anniversary. I read all the reviews and was pretty confident that I would have an excellent experience. I knew the place would be hard to find from reading other reviews so we spotted it pretty quickly. I was suprised to see the building was shared with an African bar and a car lot. When we entered, the place was small and cozy. Definatley not your upscale dining atmosphere but ok. We were quickly seated, asked for our drink order and then left. No one came back to tell us about the restaurant or what was next. I took it upon myself to go to the salad bar...which had no salad. The bar was picked over and there was no lettuce and not a very large or fresh variety but who goes to a steak house for a salad anyway. When we got back to the table, there was some cheese bread that seemed to melt in your mouth. The food begin coming at once. It was a bit overwhelming at first having so many meats whip by but you get use to it. Now here is my problem, the website advertised 14 different meats, well we only saw 8. Never any lamb chops, filet mignon, beef ribs and god knows what else. I had to ask for the parmesan pork and waited 15 minutes and when it finally came, it was disgusting. What I can say was that the lemonade was different, the meats that I ate were good, and salad bar was lacking and I would have probably paid the extra $7 to go to Fogo. The gauchos were very nice but very difficult to understand. I rarley understood what type of meat they were carving and I was embarrassed to keep asking. My husband tried all of the meats and didnt have any complaints. I feel bad that I didnt share the other reviewers experiences but I will not be returning to Tradicao and wished I had tried Fogo instead.
