Three investigators witnessed the violation on Nov. 21 while making their routine rounds of bars and restaurants, according to the state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission.. Investigators regularly make random rounds of liquor establishments, said Lauren Hitchman, administrative assistant to the department.\r

The commission report says that around 11:30 p.m. an investigator watched as a patron drinking a beer and a shot of sambuca attempted to light the wrong end of a cigarette. The patron, whose 'eyes were glassy and bloodshot,"" then headed to the men's room, with the investigator following. ""He had to hold on to the wall for support,"" according to the report. When the patron returned to his seat, an employee served him another shot of sambuca.The Savianos did not return phone calls from Globe West seeking comment. Town Administrator Michael Gianotis said the suspension is not expected to affect the annual renewal of the restaurant's liquor license, which is issued by the Board of Selectmen.""This does not go on the town record,"" he said. ""Ultimately, the decision is the ABCC's."" But He is the selectman, what kind of statement is ....The town doesnt go on record, you are a proffesional are you nbot, do you make $90,000 a year from the community to speak on behalf of thier wants and needs, but you cannot, why..................... because he has lunch there every day and in a five mile town, that is a close relationship, how naive are the residents???????
