If there was a friendlier Thai restaurant, wtih comparable food, I'd go there instead. Jhanthong servers are the least friendly, least accommodating of those in any Thai restaurant I've been to anywhere in the world. What's up with the waiters there? However, the food is for the most part, very good. The Crispy Garlic Whole Fish is excellent as are many of the curries. I've found the salads generally disappointing - even the green papaya salad is unexceptional there. The Green Curry Seafood is tasty as is the gangpanang peanutty red curry. They are sometimes heavy handed on the shredded carrots in curry & other dishes. I found the Pad Thai overly sweet. Tom Kha soup & Satay are good starters.
Pros: Very Good Curries, Crispy Whole Fish, Tom Kha & Satay
Cons: Rude Servers, Salads Mediocre, Pad Thai Disappoints
