This little tea room has a lunch buffet Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. It is an amazing bargain at $8.95. There is no other buffet that I've been to that comes close to the home-made quality of this restaurant. The food here tastes like mom was in a good mood and wanted to give you a special treat. Everything is prepared from scratch daily and the little homey touches in the food are surprising. The owner is not the best business woman but is a fantastic cook. It is obvious that she does not know about cost cutting like the chain restaurants in the area and is almost showing off in her preparation of the food she loves. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Whittier.
