Review content:
our oven went out a week or two ago. we were waiting until we got up enough money for one at Sears for $280. but yesterday my mom decided to do something good for us and called Danny Staples appliance store. she told Danny that she wanted the BEST one he had no matter what it costs and to install it in our kitchen for us while we were at work yesterday so that it would be a surprise when we got ho\r me. we came home to find a rusted out, grimy, nasty, stove with dead bugs, dirt and rust sitting in our kitchen. to make it worse, the display screen is completely out and doesn't work AT ALL. worse than that, he charged my mom $320 bucks for it! this guy completely took advantage of an older lady that obviously had NO IDEA what she was doing. i called him this morning to let him know everything that was wrong with it and for him to please pick it back up and refund my mom. he said ""no sir i'm not""! i explained to him that my mom had no idea what she was buying and that parts of it didn't even work! he said ""that's your problem, maybe you should take the checkbook away form your mother""! i offered to pay him for his delivery costs if he would just please take it back... he refused. i now have filled out a police report and talked to a lawyer. anyone else ever had to deal with anything like this? what do you do???
