Review content:
I've had the cheapest sushi ($1 for two pieces) to the most expensive ($90 for two pieces), and I can say with conviction that Mikuni's sushi is ordinary. It takes at least 10 years of training under master sushi shokunin (literally translated, ""sushi craftsman"") to become a decent sushi shokunin. From the flavor of the shari (vinegared rice), choice of neta (fish), and construction of nigiri, it's obvious that the guys behind the counter at Mikuni's have had little or no professional training. To top it all off, no Japanese restaurant with any pride would serve frozen croquette as Mikuni does. The dead giveway is its perfectly oval shape.
