Review content:
Cattlemen's in Dixon is a great steakhouse in the area. When I lived in Davis, we would head to Dixon for special occasions and a great steak dinner. We also would make it the ""halfway"" meeting point when our Bay Area friends would head into the valley to meet for dinner. Cattlemen's is known for their steak...but also for the ""bean girl"". These are servers who patrol the dining room with steaming kettles of baked beans offering them for your consumption. (A little silly to me, but if you like beans...I guess it works.) Anyway, a few months back we were in NorCal visiting my sister and we headed toward Davis from the Bay...and I wanted to stop at Cattlemen's for dinner. Unfortunately, we were too early for dinner. Maybe we'll catch it the next time.
Pros: tons of parking, easy to find
