Review content:
I took a friend there for his birthday a couple months ago. When we sat down we were almost forced into ordering the ""chef's special"" but since he had never been there before, he wanted to order off the menu. It's annoying that on a week night they still almost force you to get the ""chef's choice"" - it's good but pricey.\r

The sushi was really good. The bill for both of us was almost $100 with tip but it was his birthday!\r

I've been going to Sasabune since I first moved to LA almost 10 years ago. The atmosphere could definitely use work but it's stil the best sushi I've had in LA, especially the salmon. Melts in your mouth!
Pros: Amazing sushi.
Cons: Atmosphere needs work. Expensive.
