I bought an English Bulldog from this breeder just over a month ago. From the day i got him, he was making a hacking noise. I mentioned it at the initial vet exam on the 3rd day I had the puppy, they didn't see anything but said to monitor it. The 13th day I had the puppy, he has having severe difficulty breathing and I had to rush him to the emergency room. He was diagnosed with life threatening pneumonia and parasites. I called the breeder the next day and they said that I could bring the puppy back by the end of the day for a refund and buy him back when he got healthy, or I could pay all the hospital bills. However, the dog was already in the hospital and had I not taken him there when I did, he would be dead, which I explained to them. They basically said I should have taken him to them instead of the hospital and I was out of luck. After calling day after day for 2 weeks, and having every piece of documentation from the vet and emergency hospital (where has has had 2 overnight stays so far), I finally spoke with one of the owners the other day. She told me that I had signed a contract, and that because i rushed him to a nearby hospital rather than bringing him to them, they were not going to do anything for me. The hospital bills so far have been in excess of $2500, and I have not even had the dog for a month. Please do not give these people any business. They are unethical, have zero compassion, and have no sense at all of how a business should be run.
