Worth the drive from Portland (15 minutes from my home in NoPo), and I can't think of another place in Beaverton like this one; I've been to DeCarli twice already and it's only been a week; my craving for their duck and chestnut ravioli with the browned butter and sage was just too strong to deny !! Tried several different dishes including : \r \r - Proscuitto and arugula pizza- nice , thin crispy crust with a drizzle of olive oil & parmesan- stands up to some of the better pizzas in town including Ken's Artisan. Good ingredients, well made, individula size about $11, I think.\r - Potato gnocchi with wild mushrooms- I've had Bluehour's version of this(the standard by which I 'd judge this dish) -this is the lighter and less intense ""cousin"" - more mushroom , less cheese and truffle.\r - Caesar salad ; a respectable version- although I like mine w/ a bit more garlic and lemon, still, one of the better versions I've had in town; lighter than most and not overdressed.\r -Duck ravioli- one of the best ravioli dishes I've had anywhere , including Italy. This is the perfect fall/winter dish.Chestnut and duck puree, with brown butter, pecorino and sageYUM!! \r -Lavender panna cotta- two of my favorite flavors in one dish, What a way to end the meal.\r \r Cool interior space with the rustic brick wall, simple wood tables and high ceilings; could get loud on a busy night. I liked the urban feel and combination of modern w/ rustic touches. Will be back to try some of the main dishes.Worth watching...\r \r Pros: Good value; can compete w/ the best Italian in town, but less $$ and pretension. Cons: Could get noisy if dining room get;s busy. Some servers still finding their groove, but it's only been open a short time.
