Review content:
We've been to Decarli twice now since it opened just a couple of weeks ago, and.... WOW !!!!\r
Walking through the front door, you realize that this place is the ""real deal.""\r
Chef Paul Decarli is a master of his ""mostly Italian cuisine.""\r
Taking the old Tara Thai space was a genious move, keeping the exposed brick and adding some killer light fixtures to make this place a true gem in Beaverton.\r
The open kitchen off the very cool bar brings a great open feel and flow to the space. \r
The menu is awesome, the wine list great, the prices VERY reasonable... and the flavors--- YOWZA -\r
So far, we've had the clams and linguine, papardelle with wild boar ragout (delish), the duck ravioli (my fave), and the beef shortribs (also excellent). Not to mention a KILLER caesar salad, and little extras that the sous chef Adam gave us to nibble on while waiting (only a few minutes) for our entrees.\r
Paul and Jana know the biz, as they have been in Portland serving up yummy food for over a decade. \r
If you live in Forest Heights, this is your new fave.\r
If you love good food, get in your car and head to DeCarli !!!!\r
Pros: exceptional food in Beaverton
Cons: signage needs to be bigger so folks can find it better
