Review content:
Tonight my husband and I tried a new place in Beaverton called Decarli. We were at first very excited because of the reviews we had read on citysearch. We walked in and there was no wait, on a Saturday night, it was unusual for us, but that was the start of the problem. The menu was short but nice and the wine list was decent. Right away both my husband and I felt something was off. The bartender was distracted, and so was the server we had. We had been recommended this place by someone who was a friend of one of the servers. The food was fine, nothing special honestly. The service was completely lacking. The staff walked around and interrupted out meal continuously. My husband asked if there was a manager present, because he did enjoy his wine and wanted to know where to get it. We were informed that the manager was no longer working there. Probably had something to do with the overall feel we felt while dinning. The staff didn't have a heart for the place, they were just robots going about their business. After waiting so long for a place on the south side that would be fun to go to, this place lacked heart. We won't return. Strong warning to those who want to try. We also read the good reviews, and found out for ourselves what it was really like. If you want ok food, and a staff that obviously hates working there, this is your place.
