Review content:
I ate at Decarli tonight with my family (there were six of us and a baby). We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! The waitress was very nice, taking time to explain some of the more complex dishes and giving her personal recommendations. The appetizers were delicious and well portioned (we particularly loved the polenta fries with the gorgonzola butter ). Our entrees came out in a timely manner and were prepared well. The reviewer who gave this place one star and said the short ribs had ""no flavor or sauce that she could detect"" has no palate. They claim ?Decarli's is perhaps a great restaurant to those people who do not have much experience eating in fine restaurants?, Well, at least I can detect the subtle flavors of prune and espresso in the sauce of the short ribs!\r This is a pearl district-style restaurant that I am glad is out in Beaverton. If you want something a little different from and a lot more flavorful than the chain restaurants in Beaverton, this is the place. \r Pros: good food, good service, nice atmosphere
