A friend of mine suggested that I try PUB 71. I thought Meehan's was still in this spot and I never cared much for that place. They always treated you like you were ""in there way""... PUB 71 is a DEFINATE IMPROVEMENT! We really enjoyed ourselves. 4 of us started out with apps to just have with drinks.... We ended up staying for dinner and I had a very, very good steak and my date had a glazed salmon that was extroidinary. Robert (the Chef) was in the restaurant and he came out and introduced himself as the owner. A very nice guy and a wonderful host. He suggested some very nice Irish Whiskey and we stayed for live music until late into the night. A wonderful evening! A very nice place. We will be back and PUB 71 may become one of our favorites, if the first visit is any indication.
