On a Saturday night, we randomly patroned this hall nearby the Japanese steakhouse we had just enjoyed, and we were not disappointed! We were there long enough to meet 3 different bartenders who came and went, so suffice it to say we stayed for good fun, good people, and atmosphere. Friendly, efficient, knowledgable staff who kept the food and drinks coming, cleaned up discreetly and constantly, engaged us well without over-doing it, explained their schedule for tournaments, poker, and just plain open door policy for customers. We went on a free promo night, thus enjoyed spending more on food, drinks, and music while rackin 'em up! A little too much country selected later that night by the DJ, with intermittent rock and pop. Variety is best! They know how to run a good service-based business though, and everyone was having fun without any crazy, uncontrollable scenarios as I've witnessed any many other halls. Plenty of room between tables to limit cue stick injuries ;] And a hoard of straight shooting sticks of various lengths, no warping or blemish to affect your lines! Since we didn't have our sticks with us, these actually weren't bad. COMFY, yet attractive chairs and stools at tall and short tables scattered throughout hall, at walls, aisle and bar. No tightly packed crowding. Allows smoking, yet No haze of smoke thanks to modern filtration and fans. Certainly the best equipped and furnished, cleanest and best presenting hall I've ever EVER been in (my first in VA!). I will return, with friends and family in droves!
