I have lived at the lofts for the past year now, my lease it up in May. And May cannot come soon enough! The internet connection is terrible and most times non-existent and in my opinion is completely unacceptable for a student living facility. Also, they say your heating and cooling are included? Yeah too bad when it is about 80 degrees outside the lowest your air setting will go is 77 degrees! Also, I hope you don’t like to have fresh air because your windows don’t open! Oh you want to have guests over? Well you are limited to only having 3 guests but you are only allowed one parking pass because for the 500 residents that live here we only have about 8 visitor parking spots! Also, if your guests parking pass expires the lofts is more than willing to tow your guests car with no notice at all at your own expense. Oh you like that there is a study room on each floor? Well surprisingly each study room is locked unless asked for it to be open. The security guard does not have a key only the RA on duty, which is most likely 9 times out of 10 sleeping and won’t answer the phone to come open it for you! Oh well! Have questions or need assistance with something? Well unfortunately, all of the people that work at the front desk are residents just like you but most of them are from out of town and have no idea what you are talking about. And cannot handle technical difficulties! For how much you are expected to pay I would consider all of this before you apply to be a resident. Thank you for your time!
