My sister and I go here every six months or so; however, each time we enter it's like going home. The waitresses either really remember who we are, or they are really good at faking familiarity. Each time we go in they treat us like we are everyday customers. They are friendly and love to make you laugh. The food is...oh my...the food is luscious! The deli sandwhiches are huge. We usually forget and order one each, but we only need one to split. The roast beef is wonderful...medium rare, moist, well seasoned, and sliced paper thin but...the pile of meat on the sandwich is so high...I'm talking a good 2-3 inches in the middle, wow! The Rye bread...so fresh and soft. They serve a thick cut patato wedge frie that is good. Sometimes it is so thick that the middle of the patato isn't quite done, but it is still tasty. They also serve a wonderful cole slaw, not quite as sweet as the cole slaw at KFC, which I consider to be pretty good... the only thing I am still waiting to try is the Bread Pudding! It's on the menu, but each time we go in, they never have any...totally bumbed! I have asked about this problem, and they told me to call in advance to check to see if it's available the day I want to come in. This seems a bit much...but, if it is as good as the sandwiches, it's worth the extra effort. We highly recommend Segal's, it's great food, and great service, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. This is the first time I've written a review...I hope this helps you decide to eat here. We think you will enjoy it. In addition to the food and service...the booths are really comfortable. They are able to seat approximately 6-8 people comfortably, maybe more depending on the size of each seat being seated! Again, enjoy yourselves, take your time eating, talking, and laughing. Segal's seem's to encourage such behaviors. The Sister's say fork's up to Segal's, now dig in! Pros: Deli sandwiches are awesome! Cons: Not always having what's on the menu.
