I am the manager of UCEDA School of West New York and would like to respond to the comments made by SoulMate. I do not believe the comments came from a legitimate source because of the following reasons: 1. ESL teachers working for a private school in the state of NJ are not required to be licensed by the NJ Department of Education. Even if there were a requirement, it is questionable how SoulMate or anyone would know of the teachers’ specific credentials. 2. All teachers are qualified and prepared for their classes regardless of international or local students. Accreditation requirements regulate the minimum requirements for ESL teachers so every teacher hired must conform to them. 3. All international students must and do follow the requirements stated by USCIS in regards to their studies. The school cannot know or control any outside activities performed by international students. UCEDA School of West New York has been licensed and approved by the NJ State Education Department for over 10 years. I invite SoulMate to visit our school and meet with our teachers, staff and students and see our school for herself/himself. Our phone number is 201-868-8800. Thank you very much.
