I have two teenagers, a 19 year old boy and a 15 year old girl; both have very different skin with different needs. Until I met Alka, my family depended on a Dermatologist for creams, injections and antibiotics. At one time the Dermatologist even suggested that I put my 15 year old daughter on the pill. While this treatment arrested the acne for short periods of time, I new that my children?s skin was becoming more and more resistant to the treatment prescribed. Alka is highly educated in her field and took the time to educate my family on the individual problems they where experiencing. Some of the things Alka immediately addressed where day to day activities that where contributing and provoking breakouts: athletes' sweaty helmets and jerseys, oily hair products that run onto the face from the hairline, dirty cell phones that cling to the face, sharing cosmetics, using unsanitary makeup brushes and applicators. Alka is warm and has a welcoming way with kids that enable her to put them at ease while educating teens on an embarrassing and often socially debilitating aspect of teen life. I encourage any parent to call Alka for a consultation; she has found winning solutions for both my children. Thanks to Alka we all have beautiful, clear prescription free skin!
