Businiess name:  Puddin' Out Cupcakes

Review content:
I'm a cupcake lover (luv-ah) and was so excited that a new cupcake joint (with late hours) was opening up so I got a PT job there to quench my desire for CUPCAKES. Anyway, I was majorly bummed to find out that the cupcakes, even with a price hovering around $3, was made from a premixed generic cakemix from the supplier. Also used: artificial flavorings and spices found at Smart and FInal. I agree - Betty Crocker makes a better cupcake then these ones...\r \r The bread pudding is AMAZING tho! I guess that's what the owner originally wanted to sell exclusively but the other owners wanted to bring in cupcakes because they were ""trendy"". The bread pudding is fresh, made from three different kinds of bread (brioche, challah and sourdough, I think) and it super tasty delicious. I love it. The other puddings (sweet potato, ricotta, chocolate lava) are pretty tasty, too. \r \r Cupcakes: C-\r Bread Pudding: A-\r \r Another gripe I have is the poor design aesthetic. Generic pink bakery boxes with a cheapo stamp on it... plastic clamshell containers lined with crappy orange tissue paper. For real? Take a note from Sprinkles and move along.\r \r The sad part is that the owner (who has NO experience in the food industry at all - he's a plastic surgeon) honestly thinks his cupcakes are better than the competitor's i.e. Sprinkles, Leda's, Yummy, etc. They're certainly better than a Ralph's cupcake but no match for a sweet delish cupcake made with REAL butter, Nielsen Massey vanilla and other yummy natural flavors. Pros: Late hours, tasty bread pudding Cons: Generic cakemix, artificial flavors, food prep stories that would horrify you
