I moved to Chapel Hill from Los Angeles about 3 years ago. Even after doing exhaustive searching, traveling to Raleigh and the outer limits of the Triangle, I still had ZERO luck with finding a hair salon or stylist that I'm completely happy with. Wouldn't you know it, the place I was looking for was right around the corner. The Beehive is a fabulous salon and Meridith Grey is... just perfect. \r

The salon is conveniently located in downtown Carrboro, has a cute retro-50's/60's feel and just has a great feel (they will be tripling their salon space in the next few months!). Meridith is a wealth of knowledge, extremely skilled and just an amazing stylist. She took the time to talk with me, offer her own ideas and really understand what she was going to do with my hair before she did it. And did it she has! My hair hasn't looked this great since I lived in California!!\r

Pros: Fun feel. Great stylists. Overall the perfect salon.
Cons: The salon is a little cramped--- but they will be expanding soon (so not really a ""con"" at all).
