I would have never dreamed I would have found myself in this situation, but one missed period and a positive pregnancy test sent me into a tail spin. When I called up Planned Parenthood to make an appointment for a termination they were booked for the following two weeks :( I decided to call up My Choice. It was after 11 at night and a helpful woman was on the other end, she answered all of my questions and told me I could come in for the medical abortion the next morning. As soon as I arrived the same woman from the night before guided me to a private room for me to fill out my paper work. The entire staff was sensitive and caring. The doctor told me exactly what to expect when I would take the second set of pills and wrote me a prescription for some pain medication. I had some questions the morning I was going to take the second set so I called. It was so nice to have a live, informed, caring professional available :) She even called me that evening to see how I was doing. It was not easy, I can assure you, but I think taking the pain medication BEFORE the second set of pills made it a whole lot easier for me. At my follow up appointment they set me up with a program for birth control which I never miss a day of now! This was not an ideal situation, I know that, but if someone I care about finds themselves in the same situation I am going to take them myself to My Choice. Thanks.
