My wife and I were very much looking forward to our Valentine's Day dinner at Cafe Alsace. However, we were extreemly dissappointed with our entire experience. The food was average, they served my wife water in a dirty glass, and I nearly swallowed a piece of plastic that was in my entree!! I pulled it out of my mouth and showed it to our waitress who appologized. We expected that at least my dinner to be refunded, but the waitress brought the bill with no discount. We spoke with the owner and explained the situation. I requested a discount and she agreed that was reasonable suggestion. However, she only gave us $5 off our $138 meals. Needless to say We were insulted that she would even bother to remove such a small amount from the total. We will never eat there again and I advise you to avoid that place as well.
