Im not a food critic like Nancy from the only other review...(Wich I believe was a set up and paid for review by Dominos) But I am a former employee of not one but two Dominos Pizza restaurants and Im going to tell you what I think of the one in Thousand Oaks on Moorpark Road. Tonight I arrived there to work and had to deal with one of the most irritating and unfair supervisors I have ever encountered. His Name is Will and hes x Navy. I dont know what he was in the Navy but weather he was honorably discharge or not is questionable. This man does not talk to his employees nicely at all. He is a total pig and uses inapropriate sexual language around the two highschool girls that work there. He also likes to be unreasonable with his employees. He does things such as write you up for being late because you have to pick your pregnant wife up and you dont want her to stand in the cold waiting for a bus even though you warned him 5 hours in advance that you would be 20 minutes late because her usual ride couldn't get her that day. He truly is a dispicable person. When you add all that to the fact that they pay minimum wage and charge $1.99 for the delivery and only pay the drivers 90 cents of that regardless of weather we get a tip or not you end up with a pretty lousy situation. Also they have far too many delivery drivers working there so everybody who drives for that Dominos usualy ends up with about 20 dollars in tips for the night on a good night and between 3 and 7 dollars on a bad night. But so you all know I am a fair man I will say that the owner is a nice guy. If he would have been there tonight I most likely wouldnt have quit but that still doesnt mean hes right for paying drivers 90 cents per run when gas is 3 dollars a gallon and hiring way too many drivers. Greed is never the answer. It only makes people resent you. Especially employees. The employees other than Will are very nice people just trying to make ends meet or highschool kids saving up for thier first car. The food is all prepared safely and everything is meticulously cleaned every day. The review by Nancy Hunter is correct except for the plugged in heatwave bags. they arent being used at this particular Dominos and people who work there refer to them as a ""Piece of crap"". So this is my fair and unbiased review based on facts. Please do not order pizza from anywhere unless you plan on giving the driveratleast 4 dollars for his troubles. They put thier cars through alot of wear and tear and stop and go traffic to get you your pizza. They dont get paid much and have all the same kinds of bills that everyone else has. You wouldnt pay a cab driver 4 dollars to drive you across town so giving a good tip is completely necessary. Thank you for reading and remember, when you give less than 2 dollars as a tip, the driver is upset with you even though he or she is too kind to show it. Take care. \r
