We took our miniature Shitzu to have her hair cut and groomed and the groomer used a shampoo that made her break out in rashes, hair loss, frantic crying, constant itching, obsessant licking, and no sleep for 3 days because of all the misery and uncomfort they left our pet in. We took her back three times to see their Dr.'s for help. They didn't charge us for the visits but we did have to pay for 3 different medications, NONE of which worked. On top of the $56 we had already spent just for the grooming, the whole ordeal cost us more than $200!!! They never offered any refund and their Dr.'s offered little to no relief for our poor pet. After the 3 additional Dr. visits and 6 days of pain for our dog, we finally took her to Hillcrest Animal Hospital for a second opinion. They gave her a steriod shot, a cortisone shot, and a prescription for valium to calm her down so she would quit scratching her skin off. The treatment worked! Within 6 hours, she was 100% better. Thank you Hillcrest Animal Hospital by the way!\r My sister has worked for a veternary clinic for years in TN and after telling her the sad story of our pets misery, she told me that Allpets should've offered the same treatment first and foremost. Apparently, that's the first thing a good clinic would always do for an animal with skin allergies! So why didn't they do that?! Because they didn't seem to care, that's why! We will never take our dog there again. They made her life miserable for almost a week and didn't offer any treatment that helped. Much less a refund for all our trouble and medications we had to purchase. I don't see how they haven't been sued before now. I left my dog there for less than 4 hours one afternoon but that's all it took. If I had only known..... Pros: Speedy service Cons: But it was the wrong service!
