Review content:
About a week ago I was driving home from taking my kitten to the vet. I stopped at the KFC on Austin Bluffs and Academy (in colorado springs) thinking that because my previous experiences at KFCs located elsewhere that this would be a reasonable and nice place to eat. \r
\r
I could not have been more wrong.\r
\r
I drove through the driveway and ordered a combination meal—chicken breast corn on the cob and a biscuit. The picture in the drive through showed a drink next to the image of my combination so I ordered a Dr. Pepper. The woman on the other end of the speaker informed me that my combination does not include a drink. I asked why it showed a drink next to my combo and she told me that I was must be looking at a different combo. I told her the number of my order and it does include a drink and always includes a drink. So she finally gave me a drink but told me they don’t carry Dr. Pepper. I asked for a Mr. Pibb (the identical in the competitor’s line of drinks.) and in a very agitated voice she responded that they don’t carry that either. So I asked for a list of the drinks that they do carry and finally chose a Rootbeer. I added a honey shredded bbq sandwich for my daughter and drove forward to the window. My wait (the only upside of my experience) was not long, and we drove off, believing naively that that was the end of our frustrations with KFC. But as soon as my daughter opened her sandwich and took a bite she bit into a bone that was about as long as my finger. After opening the sandwich and further examining it we found that there were multiple large bones in the sandwich.\r
\r
I will never return to this business again. I did not deserve the woman’s immediate hostility, and I believe that because she was spiteful and mean (despite my patience and politeness) she allowed us to have very poor quality food. I still can’t believe that my daughter was eating bones in a sandwich!\r
Pros: Not a long wait
Cons: Terrible service, bones in food, incorrect order
