Businiess name:  Mountain Jacks Steakhouse

Review content:
I am a huge fan of steak, particularly filet mignon, and have tried the filet at almost all of the good steak houses in the Detroit area. On this particular occasion we decided to mix it up a little bit and try the Mountain Jack's in Troy - BIG MISTAKE! I ordered my filet medium rare and after about 45 minutes it came out medium well. I complained and had it sent back. It took about 30 minutes for them to bring the new one out (my wife and I had basically split her meal at this point) which was cooked properly but was riddled with those strands of fat that you find in lower-end meats and tasted horrible. I notified the manager that his was unlike any filet I had ever seen, but told him that I would just stick with this one since I couldn't wait another 30 minutes for a new one to arrive. I thought for sure that they would take the filet off of the bill or at least offer us a free desert for the inconvenience, but this was not the case. We were offered nothing but a half-hearted apology. Needless to say we will never dine at Mountain Jacks in Troy again. Cons: The Steak, The Service, The Manager
