I recently purchased a name-brand A/C from Art's w/free installation. My neighbor had had the exact same unit installed with no problems. Additionally, getting the installation was important to me, because I wasn't strong enough to do it myself. Their installation was terrible--they left big gaps in the wall, and the unit was even leveled wrong so water didn't drain out from it (mildew anyone?!). Art's refused to correct the problems. I then went to the store (with photos) and showed the manager, but he wouldn't even listen. I eventually had to pay a 3rd party to properly install and level the A/C. I registered a complaint with the BBB, but Art's still refuses to acknowledge the problems they created. Buyer beware!!
Pros: They're local
Cons: High price, didn't stand behind what they sold me!
