Review content:
This place is awful. It's very pretty, but that's where it stops unfortunately. My mom lives in St. Augustine and recommended Harry's but I'm sorry to say we'll never go back. My sister, brother-in-law and I had dinner there last Sunday and were VERY disappointed. I had the shrimp and scallops orleans, only to get one scallop about the size of a dime and 6 or 7 overcooked and chewy little shrimp, and a sauce that had no flavor but a LOT of spicy heat...and for $17? Blah. My sister's $22 filet that she requested be ""medium"" was VERY well done and tough, and only about an inch in thickness. My brother-in-law is allergic to seafood and could only eat a garden salad due to the fact that the waitress was unwilling to check and see if they grilled the seafood on the same grill as the burgers, we were told it was just ""too busy"" to check and see. We did complain, and were told that my sister's steak was ""cajun style"" and done the way it was supposed to be. Since when does Cajun = overcooked and tough? All of our food was sent back uneaten, and we waited 30 minutes for a manager who never came, and were told by the waitress that they could only give us 10% off of our $60 bill even though we didn't more than a few bites (I personally only had 4 bites) and sent the rest back. The waitress even admitted that the food didn't look good when she brought it out, and still we got nothing for it. I repeatedly called the next few days hoping to speak to a manager then, but was told that they were just too busy and someone would call me back. No one ever did. I'm so disappointed, and I honestly think they blew us off thinking that we were tourists and that we didn't matter anyways, as long as we paid our bill. What an awful way to do business. I'm telling everyone I know in St. Augustine about this, and posting reviews everywhere I can find to post one. I don't think I've ever had such a pathetic dining experience.
Pros: Very pretty location
Cons: Bad food, Bad service, Bad EVERYthing
