From: Shera1952@aol.com [mailto:Shera1952@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, June 05, 2012 4:18 PM To: outreach Subject: Lake City Florida animal shelter this is the most unpleasant place I have ever been to. they have pets at the local PetSmart and the representatives are rude and don't really want to let anyone adopt a pet. They told us we would have to present records on all of the animals that we have in the home and fill out and extensive applications in order to be considered for pet adoption. Most of that I can understand if they were not so openly hostile to us. I am a senior citizen, and have other pampered pets that were either found and saved or adopted. They do not ever go outside unless in a pet carrier to go to the vet. They have all be taken care of and loved a lot. Still there is not any reason for any representative of an animal protection agency to treat the public rudely. If they are representing the ASPCA. If they are this rude, and mean, I question how they treat the poor animals. Thank you for your time, Penelope Phillips 490 S.W.
