I would not come to PETCO for anything. I have a pet gecko that eats crickets. When I went to PETCO to get some, it took about a half an hour. Then I tried going to Pet Supplies across the street and it took about 5 minutes. I bought a hamster from PETCO, and it died in a week. I brought it back and they gave me a refund and I went to Pet Supplies to get a new hamster. I talked to someone who worked there who used to work at PETCO, but he quit because he didn't like it. They never play whith the animals, unless you ask to hold one which they reluctantly let you hold one. They take poor care of the animals. They also don't inform you at all about the animal. When I bought the new hamster from Pet Supplies, they told me if you see the hamsters tail or anywhere around it getting wet, bring it back immediately, because that means it has Wet Tail Disease. That is what my hamster had, but nobody informed me of this at PETCO. I brought my dog to get groomed and he got rashes all over that took a long time to go away. To conclude I would not recomend PETCO to my worst enemy.
