Review content:
I have been a Client at Gordon Salon for several years. I decided to go to the Ravinia location to avoid the HP Downtown scene. I prefer to get my color done and get out without distraction. A while ago this Ravinia location was designated as a new talent salon where stylists would get their feet wet and the prices reflected that. The downside to that was that often the services -- especially highlights would take forever and sometimes the results would just be so-so. So I switched to a more experienced stylist in the same salon and now I am paying for it big time. I guess the whole ""new talent"" idea went out the window and now the $ have shot back up. Last week I had a single process and 9 foils for highlights and it was a bloody fortune... $160+. Upon paying (not when I booked the appt.) I learned that a blow dry was included. The receptionist gave me a hard time about having the blow dry done on a different day. Eventually the stylist I have been going to told her just to book it. Oy. Considering finding another place...if I am going to pay top dollar I may as well get the royal treatment. Normally I get a hand massage -- they forgot that too Pros: Convenient, Easy Parking & No Hair Salon ""Scene"" Cons: Super Expensive
